Popular Nigerian Comedian and Content Creator, HK Chairman, has called on youths and members of the general public to shun electoral violence and resist attempts by politicians to manipulate them ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The comedian cum content creator with over 1.2milliom followers on Facebook appealed to young people to remain peaceful and avoid engaging in the destruction of electoral materials or any form of vote-buying during elections.
The entertainer who made the appeal during an interaction with youths in Ughelli, Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State, where he stressed the need for citizens to make wise decisions during elections.
According to him, the future of the country depends largely on the choices made by voters, especially the youth population.
HK Chairman lamented that many Nigerian politicians allegedly keep their children abroad while encouraging local youths to participate in violent political activities.
He advised young people not to allow themselves to be used as tools for wrongdoing, insisting that politicians who truly believe in their cause should allow their own children to engage in such actions.
Hk Chairman further warned against selling votes, describing the practice as a major setback to good governance and national development.
The comedian urged voters to remain guided by their conscience and support credible candidates who have the capacity and vision to lead effectively.
He appealed to citizens and mostly Nigerian youths to stay vigilant and participate actively in the democratic process, that would promote peace before, during and after the elections, noting that collective responsibility is key to building a better Nigeria.
